The PG series of polygraph instruments is marketed by the XinKeYong Chuang Company LTD., a subsidiary of the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The PG series of instruments was created by the PDD (Psychophysiological Detection of Deception) and Psychology Testing Research Center, operating within the Institute of Automation, as an important National Scientific Project. In December 1998 the PG-7 and the PG-10 instruments were recognized as significant achievements by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In January 2001 the PG series of instruments was recognized as an " Outstanding Scientitific Product " by the Chinese Ministry of Public Security.
